Fun-filled and natural wedding photography at Deer Park, Honiton

Kayleigh and Bret had a beautiful outdoor ceremony for their wedding at Deer Park. Their smiles were infectious and the joy was abundant as they celebrated under a shining sun. I so enjoyed being their wedding photographer and witnessing two wonderful and kind souls tying the knot at this fun-filled wedding in Devon.

Bridal preparations were at the couple's home, which made for a relaxed and natural setting. I approached taking the photographs in a reportage style and capturing the bridesmaids' and parents' reactions to seeing Kayleigh in her dress; some of my favourite photos from this time.

It's always something special to watch a bride walk down the aisle. I think the feeling is so overwhelming at this point, your face just can't hide it's happiness. And watching the groom waiting and seeing the bride for the first time - magic.

The sun was shining as the couple said their vows outside in front of family and friends. They were so cute together and had huge smiles through the entire ceremony. After the ceremony, the reception was held in the garden, and the warm weather certainly made it feel like a spectacular summer day.

After the wedding breakfast and speeches, the bridesmaids were up for taking some pictures with the bride. Everyone had a laugh and we got some really cute pictures of them all together.

I then proceeded with taking a few more pictures of the couple. I often like to take the couple pictures in two halves. That way you are never too long away from guests, and also the second half can be a different light (and you might be more relaxed after your meal too!) The golden hour is a perfect time to capture some romantic wedding photographs of the two of you.

Dancing a cheese (yum!) rounded the evening off. As I left you could tell the party was in full swing and everyone was having such a great time. Thanks for having me be part of the day Kayleigh and Bret! x
